CANDLES BY VICTORIA!!!!!!!!

I finally got my scent shots in! :) I only bought scent shots because my room is small so I thought burning a candle would very over scent my room. I plan on cutting them up into smaller chunks and using them on my candle warmer in a glass bowl. The scents I got are:
  • Edward Cullen (she used his scent description from the book to make this one)
  • Twilight (a mix of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan)
  • Rock that Vanilla (Lush dupe for American Cream)
  • Oh so Yummy (Lush dupe for Yummy Yummy Yummy)
  • Spring Moments
  • Creme Brulee
  • Banana Coconut Cream Pie
  • Elvis (peanut butter and banana)
  • Tokyo Spring
  • CoCo Mango
  • Marshmallow Campfire
  • Honey, I washed the Youngins (Lush dupe for Honey, I washed the kids)

and Victoria sends a free scent shot with every order so she sent me Exotic Coconut! Which was orginally on my list to buy but decided against it in the end. So glad she sent it though, the smell is just summer!!! So good :)

I'm very pleased with these scent shots and will definitely be placing another order with her again soon!

SO excited for Candles by Victoria!

I finally figured out which scents I wanted to try first so I made my order tonight! I'm only going to be buys tarts and scent shots because my room is pretty small so if these candles are as fragrant as everyone says, I don't want to feel like I'm smothering! I took advantage of her sale this month (10% off if you use the discount code in her newsletter). I bought scent shots in the following scents:

  • Twilight
  • Edward Cullen
  • Creme Brulee
  • Banana coconut cream pie
  • Elvis
  • Honey, I washed the youngins
  • Tokyo spring
  • Coco mango
  • Marshmallow campfire
  • Spring moments
  • Rock that vanilla
  • Oh so yummy

I will post a picture and scent descriptions once my order gets here! SO excited!

Feb. Favs.

jean leggings: I have 2 pairs and have been wearing them constantly!

blue, black and pink leopard print slippers from Forever 21: These are pretty thin so they don't make my feet too hot. They are super cute with little bows on the toe part!

chi silk infusion: makes my hair so soft and smells amazing!

Mac zoom lash mascara: makes my lashes look extra long and curls even before I curl them with a lash curler.

A little late but.....January Favorites

Porridge soap from Lush: I've used this for over a month now and it has really helped soften my skin. The smell has really grown on me and I'm obsessed with it now.

True Blue Spa- type Shea personality from Bath and Body Works: This is a pretty heavy duty Shea butter lotion, since it is so heavy I only use it before bed. Between this and the Porridge soap I have seen a big improvement in my skin.

Soy candles: I get these from the antique/craft mall near me. They burn very clean, you don't get that black residue on the sides of the candle. The wax is easy to clean up, just use soap and water. I use a candle warmer so they last even longer.

California Rolls: I used to drive quite a way to get these but now my local Kroger has a sushi stand where you can watch the sushi being made! I was so excited!!!! Plus, they make them with brown rice too so they are even healthier :)

Ebay: I've been using this like crazy lately! I've been selling some of my Lush stuff that I don't really care for and then buying Lush stuff I know I like!

Today's Mall Haul

Today my sister and I went to the mall to shop. Here is a list of what I got.

  • The Max Rave store in my mall is closing so the entire store, including clearance is 50% off. I bought 2 really cute shirts for $3 each.
  • Bath and Body Works has a deal going where you get 5 hand sanitizers for $5. I picked out 2 Sweet pea, 1 Warm Vanilla sugar, 1 Fresh linen, and 1 Island Nectar. I also bought this cute little pink tie-dye clip for the sanitizer for $0.50.
  • Ebay: I won a new, sealed piece of Lush Alkmarr soap worth $16.17. I paid $9 + $2 shipping.

LUSH!!!!!!

I finally went to my local Lush store the other day. They were having 2 promotions going on and I of course did both. The first one was to bring in a used/new donation of clothing/shoes for Haiti. When you did this you would receive a free item. The second one was spend $50, you get your choice of leftover Christmas presents for free. I caught the sales people at Lush off guard when I brought in my donation, I guess I was the first one so they were really excited. The girl was clapping and all kinds of stuff but anyway, she told me that they hadn't put together anything so I could just pick out 3 items to sample. This was totally awesome....until.... the guy who worked there decided that was too generous so he put together the most stingy sample pack I've ever seen. Normally, I wouldn't mind but that fact was that the girl was offering for me to pick what I wanted to try out at home. Anyway, I got a teeny tiny sample of Helping Hands hand cream (barely enough for a full hand application), a bigger (still tiny though) sample of Charity Pot, and a small sample of Karma soap.

On to what I paid for:
  • New! solid shampoo for my sister $9.45
  • Porridge soap $10.40
  • Butterball bath bomb $4.95
  • Shimmy Shimmy massage bar $6.75
  • Sex Bomb bath bomb (HUGE!) $6.15
  • Sweetie Pie shower jelly $10.25

my total was $47.95 but tax brought it up to $50.83. I like how the promotion wasn't spend $50 BEFORE taxes. so that was cool. The Christmas Present I picked out was Stardust.

It included:

  • a small Snow Fairy shower gel
  • Double Fast Luck emotibomb
  • Snow Fairy solid perfume
  • Star Melt bath melt
  • Fairy Tail sugar scrub
  • Candy Cane bubble bar
  • Angels Delight soap

The present was worth $50 so I got $100 of products for $50 so very cool. I will do reviews on things as I try them. I even made an online order because the USA site added more Christmas items for the buy 1 get 2 free promotion! Can't wait until it gets here!
